Affectionally called ‘The Yak’ Seminyak is a beach resort area at the southern end of Bali, with many luxury hotels, villas and spas, as well as high-end shopping and amazing restaurants. The area has a great nightlife scene as well, with ample beach front spots to soak in an amazing sunset. It’s easy to get a cab here to anywhere and if you’re staying in the center of the Yak it’s all very walkable.

Located in the center of Bali, tucked away in the rain forest district, Ubud has always served as a spirtual jungle hideaway. Known for it’s terraced rice paddies, traditional craft villages, and treetop jungle like settings it’s one of the most peaceful regions on the island.
Ubud’s first swim up bar, right in the centre of town. Rustic exteriors surrounded by tropical greenery and a turquoise pool is lined with private daybeds, luxurious tepees and deck chairs.
Over 600 long tailed Balinese monkeys live in this Hindu temple turned monkey sanctuary in the heart of the Ubud. Open Daily from 8:30 AM - 6 PM. A must see.
You can bring fruit or buy bananas at the temple to feed the monkeys but watch out some of these guys can be sneaky thieves!
With it’s old French Vietnam ambience this spot creates some of the best Indonesian food on the island, paired with their exotic cocktail list (get the butterfly pea cocktail) it’s one of our favorite eats on the island.

Pro Tip - make reservations at least a month in advance.
